Wine Spectator Score: 87

2.  Chateau Ste Michelle Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay 2004

Wine Spectator Score: 92
Country: Washington
Region: Columbia Valley
Issue: June'06

A fruit-centered wine, this sings with pear, grapefruit and peach aromas and flavors, perched enticingly on a lithe frame, with subdued oak notes lingering on the periphery. It's the texture, though, that makes it so attractive, polished and refined. Drink now through 2010.

          3.  Chateau Ste Michelle Chardonnay Indian Wells 2004

Wine Spectator Score: 90
Country: USA
Region: Columbia Valley
Issue: June'06

Showing a sense of restraint, this wine finds a comfortable balance between tangy flavors of apple and star fruit against a lithe texture and mere hints of spicy oak that flit around the edges. The finish persists, pulling everything together nicely and letting it echo. Drink now through 2008.

4.  2004 Cartlidge and Browne Chardonnay

California, USA
Chardonnay (a dry white table wine)
Wine Advocate #162 (Dec 2005)
Robert Parker 88 points
Drink 2005-2006

Tropical fruit aromas (pineapple, melons, and mangoes) jump from the glass of the 2004 Chardonnay. There is little evidence of wood in this fruit-driven, clean, pure, tasty Chardonnay. It needs to be consumed during its first 12 months of life. It is probably one of the two best Chardonnay values in the world.

5.  Martin Ray Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2005

Country: California
Region: Sonoma

Our 2005 Russian River Valley Chardonnay begins with rich aromas, highlighted by fresh peaches, apple and vanilla. The wine's superior structure and balance has a backbone of crisp apple, peach and creamy vanilla flavors that continue flawlessly on to a ripe and elegant finish.  14,600 Cases Made.

6.  Fritz Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2004

Wine Spectator Score: 91
Country: California
Region: Russian River
Issue: Wine & Spirits

A classic golden straw-colored Chardonnay, showing a full body with the elegance of a crisp finish influenced by the coastal fog of the Russian River Valley. This wine features a beautiful balance of tropical fruits, mineral notes, oak and bright lively acidity.  This balance will offer fullness in the mouth, without being unctuous, and ends in a delicate lingering finish.

7.  Babich Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough 2005

Wine Spectator Score: 90
Country: New Zealand
Region: New Zealand
Issue: Nov 30, 2005

Fresh and lively, appealing for its zingy grapefruit flavor, hinting at peach and lime as the finish keeps zipping along. Drink now. 85,000 cases made.

8.  St. Michael-Eppan Pinot Grigio 2005

St Michael Eppan has been named winery of the year from Gambero Rosso; this wine has loads of bartlet pear and citrus aromas and flavors; very crisp yet elegant and soft on the finish.

9.  Cantina Terlano Pinot Grigio Alto Adige 2004

Wine Spectator Score: 89
Country: Italy
Region: Northeast
Issue: Web Only (2005)

Extremely fresh and floral with lemons and flowers on the nose. Full-bodied, with lots of character and bright acidity. Long and lively. Almost as outstanding as the 2003. Drink now. 4,200 cases made.

10.  Chateau Lamothe de Haux Grand Vin De Bordeaux 2005

Made with premium Bordeaux varieties : Sauvignon Blanc (40%), Sémillon (40%), and Muscadelle (20%). This blend, based on ancient tradition, is rare in Bordeaux these days.  Beautifully aromatic, round fruit, crisp finish.  Totally delicious.  This wine is ideal as an aperitif and with fish, seafood (oysters, mussels), or goat's cheese.  Best enjoyed young (within 2 years of the vintage).

11.  Five Vintners Sauvignon Blanc 2003

Country: California
Region: Napa
Store Favorite!!

This Sauvignon Blanc is round and full with a crisp, refreshing tang of grapefruit on the palette and a bit of honeysuckle in the nose.  617 Cases Produced.

12.  2005 Torrontes Crios de Susana Balbo Cafayate

85 Points by Stephen Tanzer

Fragrant aromas of spearmint, flowers and lichee.  Juicy, spicy and on the lean side, with mineral, licorice and mint flavors. Offers good intensity and cut&ldots; but this is classic Torrontes, and a good accompaniment to spicy Thai food.
